 Today after, morning tea was all about ''Art Alive"

After morning tea the whole school went all around the school and looked at each classes art for this term.

Room 1 witch is our class lined up outside after morning tea and went straight to team 4 Art projects. They were all about doing island things like things about all the island tattoos, then we went across team 4 and went straight to room, 9 and 10 they were drawing different kinds of things like painting.

after that we went to the younger classes and all their art was about colours and shapes. after coming back from the little classes then we came back to team 5 and looked around then went back to our classes and started to blog post about what we did. Here is a picture of art alive.

Tittle - How to save energy. 

Have you ever saved energy that is in your house?

Saving energy is good by turning off all the things that are in your house that are not in use and not wasting the power.  

Saving energy  

In order to save energy is to not use the things that take up all the power at home. like the oven, and the plugs that charge in your device.  It is good to save power and energy in your home so it doesn’t have to be wasted.

Saving water 

Saving water is just like saving energy. All you gotta do is to not waste the water and save it more and not wasting the water on nothing. it is good to save water because if you don’t save the water then all the water is gonna be wasted. 

Conclusion 

So there you have it, now you know how to save things that are always used in your home.

Water Explanation

 Tittle - keeping our water clean 

It is very important to keep the water good for the animals and things like when you wash your dishes it looks nice and clean not using dirty water. 

Keeping our water clean. 

It’s good to keep our water clean by looking after our water not wasting our water and making sure that the water is good to drink good to be doing all the plants.

Inside our water there's almost 97% of salt in our water, and we need more water because there is not enough for the whole world.   

When all the water is dirty that gives us less percent. It is always good to be keeping the water on a high level and not on a low level.

 When Pollution is made that’s when rubbish went inside the water/sea and that’s why all the water gets dirty. 

it is always important to not put rubbish into water or where ever water is otherwise there is going to be pollution.    

Farmers have been near the water that they have been seeing polluted rivers and they are not clean at all. It’s not okay to leave all rivers polluted. 

Having polluted oceans and rivers are not good for peoples living. Also animals they drink out of the river water and makes them have a lot of energy.

If the animals drink a lot of polluted water that means that there lives now are not the same as before they are gone weak and they might even die.

Friday

Last week Friday, the whole school had cross country.
 cross country didn't start until after lunch, after morning tea the whole school got changed into their house colour cloths.

The house colour names are Hokule'a/Green Te Aurere/Red Hine Moana/Blue and the last one is yellow i forgot the house colour name.

After getting changed we stayed in class until lunch time, then then bell rang and all the classes lined up to go to the filed and start. when everyone was at the field everyone was there it was a bit different to the cross country that we had from last year.

first Mr Burt said where to go on the track then he gave the mic to tuluinga and she said the prayer.
then we started and it all went well.

Taha whanau

three things i did in the weekends with my whanau.

1. after school i walked home with my sisters got out of my uniform and put it in the washing and when it was finish it went to hang it and then do some dishes that was left in the sink.

2. on Saturday we went to my granddads house and we started doing some work like cleaning the house and doing some cleaning on my chrome book then we had a rest and got back up i went to hang the washing.

3. on Sunday i woke up early in the morning and helped my mum and her sisters doing the food for after church after we finished doing the food for after church i got baby changed for church and got myself changed fro church to. we went to church. after church we came back home and eat lunch then i did all the dishes and went of when i was done.

Now it has become Monday.  have a great day! 
              

Friday assembly

On a normal Friday it is the school assembly for the whole school.
well today was a bit different today was a fun and a exciting day. when the bell rang for the year 7&8 when we were done our meeting for the the team 5 block we went strait to the hall we sat down ans started and then after we finish the prayer and the song we went straight to the quiz.

after the quiz Mr Burt introduced some special people witch was Joseph Parker and his sister i forgot her name sorry. it was so cool seeing them at point England school Joseph Parker introduced his self to the whole school after he did that he told us some special words that he said they were ''Believe in yourself'' ''Nothing means a word" those are the words that he said and those are the words that i have learnt from him.

it was so nice having Joseph Parker and his sister at point England school we would like to see you again.  Here are some of the photos that we had of him and some other people.

     

what i did threw isolation

When we went to isolation.

On the first day we went home because of the covid-19 i was so sad that we had to leave school until level 1. I went home and went straight to get out of my school uniform then went in the car. I was sad that there was no school until level 1 but happy that I got to spend time with my family.

It was the next morning Wednesday i woke up and said to my mum that i wanted to go to school and she said “you can’t go to school because it’s level three’’ and i was a bit angry at that so i went outside to finish if my work and it was awkward doing my work at home we had to first goggle meets with the teacher it was fun doing the goggle meets with the teacher and that was my first time doing it to.

It was fun in the bubble but the thing was that I was sad because there was no school but we did school inline which was a bit different and good.

Narrative writing

It was a nice sunny day in the morning and it was Sam's birthday.

Mum says “Happy birthday sam’’ much appreciate it mum said sam 

Dad says “Happy birthday my son’’ thank you sam said.

Sam got out of bed, went straight to the bathroom and washed his eyes and brushed his teeth.  He came back to the room and grabbed his towel. He wiped his eyes looking red and as he walked to the window he opened the curtains and it was so bright Sam was nice and warm when he opened up the curtains. He remade his bed and went off for a shower he was there for a long time so dad said “you must hurry up sam’’ Yes dad i’m almost done said sam. Sam got outta the shower and got changed. He was so fresh after having a shower.

Mum said “do you want to go to the beach for your birthday sam’’ 

Sam said Yes mum, I would like to go to the beach.

Mum said “well get you gears ready’’

Sam said “okay’’.

As Sam was getting his gear ready Sam was so happy but there was one thing that he needed to tell his mum and day. Sam said “mum and dad may we go with my friends please’’. Mum and dad say “wow we will see because it depends if the car can fit’’.

So Sam was a bit worried that his friends might not go. He was done pakking all his gear’s up.  After Sam was done pakking his gears up he grabbed his phone and rang all his friends. His friends were,mike,stanley,demi,iti and donte they were Sam’s friends and they looked after Sam they did everything Sam wanted they even walked sam home they did that to each other. He rang Stanley first. Sam rings Stanley and Stanley picks up the phone. Stanley shouted “HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM’’ Sam says “Thank you’’ and Stanley said “yes I would because I want to celebrate your birthday”.

Then mum dad and Sam went to go and pick stanley up and stanley was already ready.

Then mum and dad said “i think the car can fit for your friends” Sam said “yass”.

So they all went to get the boys and when they got in the car they started hugging Sam a lot and saying “happy birthday” and went straight to the beach. They all had a feed and drinks then they had a little rest on the sand. It was nice and warm because the sun was flashing on them.     

After having a rest they went back to mum and dad and grabbed their swimming gears they got changed and went straight to swim they had a lot of fun.

20 minutes later Sam came back and he was crying Mum says “what happen Sam”

Sam says “I scratched” my leg on the side and on the bottom” mum got a bit worried so all the boys came back and they were worried too.

So Sam and all of them had to go to the doctors and he wore a leg band. After that they went back home and had a rest. The boys were with Sam.

When Sam woke up all the boys came in the room and looked at Sam they all started laughing and had a good day at home.

A flag that represents in me.

Task Description: this week the whole of team five are doing a Easter holiday learning journey and each day we have a google slide for one day and the next day we have Another slide to do so this is one of my slides from this week that i had to do on Tuesday but i didn't catch up. so what we had to do was design our own flag and what it represents me. my colours of these flags are white blue and red.

so the white colour represents purity, mountain, snow and peace. the red flag represents Blood as we all have the same coloured Blood Freedom, vigilance, hardness as we keep the hardness up and revelation that's all the meaning of the white and and red colour of the flag. now it's the blue colour of the flag. the blue colour represents justice perseverance, respect and loyalty those are all the meaning of the colours on the flag.             

three things we would like to go

one thing to do: so the first thing i would like to do is going on a fairy the reason why i would like to go on a fairy because i haven't went on a fairy before and i would like to try looking at every thing that's in the water from far.  

second thing to do: i would like to go to the museum because you can find out the thing's that were made back in the day's and how old they are. the other thing i would want to go to the museum for its because of the big animals that were at the museum and all the meaning of the cutler's.    

third thing to do: the third thing i would like to do is to travel i would like to travel because i would like to go to the places that i haven't went to and i would like to see the oceans around the islands.

Hi my name is Deelani and this is a photo of me and a stone. this stone was form back in the days it was given to me when i was a little girl and the person that gave it to me was my granddad. my grandad gave this to me when i was 5 years old he gave it to me on my birthday and said that this is so special to you and the family do not lose it or break it and i said ok. so if i was to travel to smaoa by my self i would take this with me and never give it to anyone.

Task Description: this week for writing we had to write a a narrative about the photo that is below this writing and below the photo is my writing this is how much i have wrote. it was nice writing this narrative. it made me learn more at witting a narrative.

Once upon a time in the dark frosty place at night there were two horses, one duck, a lizard and a pumpkin that was so big. In the dark forest there was a princess named Angel. She was on a horse. It was all good until something happened there was a dark shadow that went past “What's that noise?'' said Angel Quietly. She was scared. Angel Quickly jumped off the horse and went off looking for where the dark shadow went as soon as she got to this big green bush she was so nervous. She heard this weird noise inside the bush so she went to the bush and touched it. “Ouch said Angel that was so sore this bush is so spicky and hard” So Angel went off and the shadow came back Angel saw it and ran off. She was so confused where she was running she went the wrong way so she was lost, and she couldn't find her way to her horse so she cried. She was so sad that she never found her horse.

task description: today after morning tea room 1 sat on the floor and miss Moala told us that we had to do a new inquiry work witch was wk 6 whare tapa wha. we had to find out on the four walls witch side of the whare tapa wha wall that my family has strength in and i picked te whare tapa wha because my family helps each other encourage each other and Respond positive.

Adam had been looking for the key in the library for hours and he had never found it. Adams dad was so worried about Adam not finding the key so Adams dad went searching for the key and he had never found it. They both took a break for five minutes and went off looking for the key again. Adam went searching under the mat and under the chair and there was nothing there he went to the table and grabbed his maginitefine classes and went to all the books looking around. Adam stooped to this big beautiful book. Adam had looked at the book and he said I hope the key is inside this book and he opened the book. They key was not inside the book and he was so sad about not finding the key. So Adam went inside the room and opened the door and something moved from the top of the book shelf and stopped he pot down his maginitefine classes and ran down the steps and went to his room and grabbed a latter and ran back to the library he set up the latter and climb up the latter and when he got to the top it was a pair of glasses and the glasses were nice shiney.

One way to be a good daughter.

Do you know what it is like to be a good daughter or son here is how.This writing is mostly about how you can  be a good son or daughter.this is an example if you want to be a good  daughter you should always say yes to your parents and clean up after yourself.

It is very important to always show kindness towards others. Although this can be difficult at times, it is important to show kindness to your parents because it shows that you respect them. For example, when you really want to go somewhere with your friends and your parents tell you to have to stay home and look after your little siblings, it’s important to remember that your parents have your best interests in mind.

one way to be a good daughter is to talk nicely to your parents. By telling them how much you appreciate them, and  answering back to your parents in a positive manner that you are showing your parents how much they mean to you.  Whenever your parents ask you to do something it is important that you listen and respond in a timely and respectful manner. For example, when mum asks you to put away the laundry, you should immediately respond by saying, “yes mum” as you stand up and put the laundry away without a scowl on your face just a smile.

Another way to show that you are a good daughter is by your actions. By being helpful around the house you are showing your parents that you respect them. For example, when your bed is made and your room is clean you are showing that you respect your living space. This also comes into play when you complete your chores without being asked. So, when you wake up in the morning or get home from school, immediately vacuum the house, put away the dishes and take out the rubbish and put it in the bin. 

Anyone can be a good daughter if you follow these steps.you can be a good daughter by cleaning or doing stuff without being asked.Like if you get home for training you should go shower without being asked.

Anyone has the ability to be a good daughter. By showing kindness, listening to your parents, and being helpful you are showing your parents that you love them and respect them. What else can you do in your life to be a good daughter?

Picking up rubbish: It is important if you see any rubbish on the ground even if it’s not yours.

You should still take responsibility even for the animals like the turtles who can suffocate.

For example,imagine if you saw someone leaving rubbish and they don’t pick it up instead of leaving it there you should take it although it’s not yours.

Chuck it in the right bin: when people see rubbish they pick it up and put it in the right.People could be leaving their rubbish behind and putting it in the wrong bin.For Example,you see a plastic bottle instead of leaving it outside put it in the blue bin and not the black bin or you could recycle it and use it for other things. 

Don’t just do it at school (home street): This means to not only be positive at school you can also be positive at home.The differences about home and school is that if you’re at home you get to stay inside most of the time while at school you’ll be outside more but you should just act more helpful like at school and home other than that be more helpful not just at school or home but in your neighbourhood.For example,someone has bad luck you could go and help them to be more careful.

Teach others (whanau neighbours): Teaching others would mean having a positive attitude towards them and if they need help with anything you can show them how to do it.If they are forgetful you could show them how to do anything they need help with but even if they are rude just show them how they need to behave.For example,they could be watching you do anything and you could behave right in front of them.
