Summer Learning Journey Teaser Day 1

Last week, we started the Summer Learning Journey Teaser Week. I worked on learning more about the signer Lorde.  Part of my task was to create a profile for her.

  1. Kia Ora Deelani, I hope you are having a good day!

My name is Eliza and I’m working as a blog commenter on the Summer Learning Journey this summer. Have you done the Summer Learning Journey before? I’m looking forward to reading the blog posts over the next few weeks! If you want to know more about me, you can check out my blog.

Ka pai on making a Lorde poster! I like how you’ve used both a photo and writing, this makes it more eye-catching and effective. Your facts are interesting too - thanks for sharing those. Did you know that Lorde has a net worth of $12 million dollars! Were there any other facts you learned about Lorde, that you didn’t use on your blog?

When you're doing Summer Learning Journey activities, just remember to only use your own words and don’t take sentences from the internet.

I actually went to the same school as Lorde and we lived on the same road for a little while, she is one year younger than me. She is a really nice person and I remember her always being very talented at school. Do you have a favourite Lorde song?

Thank you for blogging, I hope you will keep blogging with us over the summer. Keep working on the teaser week activities and on the 16th of December you can start the Week 1 activities.

Have a good day and keep up the awesome mahi!
    Eliza :)
